Jay Flatley
Mr. Flatley is currently President and CEO of Illumina, a provider of next-generation tools for the large-scale analysis of genetic variation and function. Prior to joining Illumina and shepherding the company through its successful IPO, he was Founder, President, and CEO of Molecular Dynamics, succeeding Jim Schlater. While at Molecular Dynamics, Mr. Flatley led the public company’s launch of over 15 major instrumentation systems and supervised its sale to Amersham Pharmacia Biotech in 1998.
